Frank’s Friends Dog Walker [FFDW] – L&F Pet Services Ltd [L&F]

 

1. The Client is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their dog while it is under the care of FFDW/L&F, or is using any other services, paid or otherwise, provided by FFDW/L&F, and agrees to indemnify FFDW/L&F in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.

2. The Client agrees that, in entering their dog to our care, FFDW/L&F has relied on the Client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown any undeclared aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog.

 

3. All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by FFDW/L&F prior to using our Services. We reserve the right to refuse services to any dog, deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.

 

4. The Client must promptly inform Frank’s Friends of any unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour exhibited by their dog that could potentially harm another dog or individual.

 

5. Frank's Friends provides services in which dogs interact in groups, and clients acknowledge that their dog may sustain injuries during normal play. All play is closely supervised to prevent harm, however scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries may still occur despite vigilant supervision.

 

6. Dogs will only be allowed off the lead by FFDW/L&F once a signed 'Off the Lead Consent Form' is submitted, and day to day this decision will be made by the staff at Frank's Friends based on behaviour and context/location on the day.

 

7. The complete expense of treating any injuries or illnesses that the client's dog incurs while in the care of Frank's Friends, along with any related expenses such as call-out charges, remains the client's responsibility. The client grants permission to the staff of FFDW/L&F to seek veterinary advice and/or treatment as they consider necessary. Whenever possible, this will be done by the client's preferred veterinarian, but it cannot be guaranteed, especially in emergency situations. The client acknowledges that the staff of Frank's Friends may, at their discretion, utilise any registered veterinarian. FFDW/L&F will make all attempts where possible to contact the Client prior to committing to any paid service. If payment is made or committed to  by FFDW/L&F the client agrees to promptly (on collection or via separate arrangement) settle all such expenses incurred with the service provider.

 

8. Frank's Friends has the authority to decline services if the Client does not present sufficient evidence of vaccinations (including Bordetella), or if the vaccinations are discovered to be expired or incomplete.

 

9. The client acknowledges that despite their dog being vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough), there remains a possibility of their dog contracting Kennel Cough. The Client consents not to hold Frank’s Friends liable in the event that their dog contracts Kennel Cough during their attendance.

 

10. The customer commits to taking all necessary steps to ensure that their dog remains free from contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases. Additionally, the customer agrees to promptly inform Frank’s Friends of any infectious or contagious diseases or conditions to which their dog has been exposed or is suffering from. These diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Corona virus, worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases, and Intestinal Parasites. FFDW/L&F retains the right to deny service until they are confident that the condition has been resolved.

 

11. Female dogs that are in heat or pregnant are not allowed to attend FFDW/L&F group walks/Social sessions. Admission will be denied by Frank's Friends if these conditions are not adhered to.

 

12. FFDW/L&F may take photos of your pet during its care with us and we may use them on our social media pages without further permission sought. We will ensure that they do not show your home’s details. Please let us know if you would prefer no photos of your pet to be used online and we will be very happy to accommodate your wishes.

 

13. The client acknowledges that FFDW/L&F bears no liability for any misplaced, stolen, or impaired leads, collars, tags, garments, or any other belongings entrusted with their dog(s).

 

14. The client must ensure house/kennel keys are provided or access is arranged for the dog during for the scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of services for that day, with full payment required by the client.

 

15. By signing the ‘Key Holder Waiver Form’, the client agrees to release FFDW/L&F from any liability related to loss or damage of the property or its contents, both now and in the future - provided due care and attention has been taken by FFDW/L&F.

 

16. The client consents to volunteers, family, or friends assisting Leigh at FFDW/L&F with walking their dog on occasion.  FFDW/L&F will ensure that those engaging with the Client’s dog(s) are aware of any specific needs or concerns as necessary.

 

17. Trackers - tracking devices are designed for pet ownership only, they're not designed to be used whilst in the care of a professional dog walker. Trackers collect data on the exact location of the wearer, this includes collecting data on every customer address FFDW/L&F attends to pick up and drop off a dog, for walks or other services This breaks government data protection and GDPR therefore any tracking device must be removed and if the dog is a flight risk, they will be kept secure on a lead.

 

18. Payment - You will be provided with an invoice on a monthly basis and payment is required in full by the 7th of the following month, unless subject to alternative agreement at the discretion of FFDW/L&F. Payment can be made by the following methods: Direct bank transfer to L&F Pet Services Ltd Sort – 05-00-05 Account – 12887539, or via Paypal landfpetservices@gmail.com Cash is also accepted in person/collection during service visits/appointments.  FFDW reserves the right to remove access to services in the event any unpaid invoices, or to alter arrangement to payment in advance.

 

19. Cancellation - FFDW/L&F reserves the right to charge in full for arranged services with less than 24 hours notice cancellation by the client.  

 

20. FFDW/L&F reserves the right to cut short or deviate from/amend the agreed services in the event of dog behaviour/interaction/extreme weather or heat with no amendment to payment terms. Wherever possible to do so this will be discussed in advance with the client.

 

21. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will only be valid if confirmed in writing by FFDW/L&F.
